FAQ

For quick answers to your questions check through these frequently asked questions.

We will be happy to come to you no matter where you are. (We have done our presentations for audiences across the U.S. and all over the world.)

We try to keep things simple for you to book us by not charging travel fees. We do this by block-booking schools or libraries in your area. If you can book during our tour to your area, we can avoid charging you additional travel fees. If you want us to visit your school or library and we have no tour scheduled for your area, then additional travel fees may apply if you live outside of Southern California. (NOTE: We do two national tours each year, fall and spring, and a summer library tour. We tour from coast-to-coast and there are no additional travel fees if you book during our tours.)

Yes. We have a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy.

We do not bring live animals for these reasons:
1. The animals that we present during our “expeditions” are too large to bring with us.
(Many are too large and/or endangered for any aquarium even to have on site!)
2. We are not at our home base long enough to care for any live animals.
3. We are not equipped to travel with live animals.
4. Most live aquatic animals that could be brought to schools have very short life-spans and die very quickly because of being transported and handled.

We are like a field trip that comes to you! We are a two-person (husband & wife) show with lots of exciting things to show our audiences. Depending on the program you choose what we bring may include one-of-a-kind, specially designed props, specimens, biological models, museum replicas, costumes, banners, backgrounds, state-of-the-art scuba diving equipment, underwater scooters, underwater cameras, and life-sized (or larger-than-life-sized) inflatable animals. (NOTE: If needed we also bring our own wide-screen, digital projection system and wireless lavalier microphones.)
Our fee depends on your location and number of programs. If you are out of the Southern California area we try to make our programs more affordable, by block booking, so we won’t have to charge additional travel fees.

The further in advance you can schedule us the more likely you will be able to get the particular date you would like. Some of our clients book us a year in advance. Many schools book during the summer for the following school year.
